What you can do to reduce it?

Apply the 3 Rs :

1- Reuse everything you can find which is good shpe.

2- Recycle

3- Repair

Some recommendations : 

- Change your lightbulbs: Using fluorescent or led bulbs saves 400 kgs of carbon dioxide.

- Recycling half of your waste will save up to 1000kg of CO2.

- Compost your vegetable wastes. You will get the bets fertilizers after one year and save tons of useable wastes. 

- Check your tires: Keeping them inflated to the correct pressure will help your car consume less gasoline. Every liter saved will free up 2.5 kg of CO2.

- Keep all yout old electronics, toys, players, video games and mechanical machines. There are many things reusable in them. Bring them to the local technical schoold, they will know how to reiuse the components. .

- Use less hot water using a low pressure shower. Wash your laundry with cold water.

- Avoid purchasing products that use excessive packaging, especially plastic bags which destroy the environment.

- Set you air conditioning temperature 2 degrees higher You don’t need to freeze to cool down. Besides, extreme temperature changes cause colds. The same can be said when your heat pump is heating, set it two degrees lower. 

- When sleeping, use heavy blanckets and set the heaters to 16 C. 

- Plant as many trees as you can. Simple. One tree will absorb one ton of CO2.

- Do not use to wood, coal or petrol to heat yourself. They were the best carbon cachers. 

- Switch of electrical appliances if you are not using them: TV, DVD, Radio, Computer.

- Drive less: Walk or ride a bike. For every 5km traveled without using a car you save 1.5kg of CO2.

- Like m yself, live next to a train or metro station. 

- Consume unbottled liquids: Fresh fruit juices and the water from young coconuts are healthier and come in natural, biodegrable packaging.

- Install a solar water heater. They are simple and cost almost nothing to construct.
