Japan firms to work on solar-powered ship

Dear all,

the next important issue : to find efficient cargo transport consumming no petrol.
I think that it is ridiculous to import Australian wine in the UK when you can get it from many places around the EU.

I have a group of students that are now working on one small solar powered ship and they shall show the potentials in the Bay of Moprhou / Guzelyurt hopefully in a competition where other Universities will have to show if they can beat them.

This is part of our research effort to produce pumps which are solar powered and then to design a complete mew generation of heat pumps which will need no external source of energy except the sun.

I am quite amazed to see how many solar panels are installed in Turkey and so few in Italy or Spain.
